A Beautiful "Look" for Miss New York

Lovely Carrie Tucker, Miss New York USA 2000, simply didn't want to wear her glasses. Unfortunately, contact lenses were never comfortable enough to be an option. At the urging of the pageant director, who told her about LASIK Vision Correction, Carrie made an appointment with Dr. Richard Norden.

"I did a lot of homework before deciding on Dr. Norden. In addition to his excellent credentials, he really took the time to educate me before I made my decision, and helped me understand why the procedure was right for me. When I found out that Dr. Norden had performed the LASIK vision correction on Miss USA Kimberly Pressler and Miss New York USA finalist Tammy Tyson, I knew he was the only choice for me," said Ms. Tucker.

"I walked out of the procedure with 20/20 vision, which has improved to 20/10 now. I didn't realize what I wasn't seeing, like the flowers in the garden across the street. Its truly amazing," she added. "As Miss New York, a lot of demands are made on my time. By having LASIK, keeping track of my glasses won't be one of them.

After Thoughts...

"I really had the opportunity to go anywhere in the country, but I chose to see you because of the wonderful reports I received about your outstanding reputation. I am delighted with the results and have told my friends and associates about the quality of visual enhancement you provide. It was everything I could have wished for."

"I describe my laser vision surgery as 'the eighth wonder of the world.' Words like outstanding, awesome, and unbelievable don't begin to describe how I feel. You were able to correct both my nearsightedness and farsightedness, and eliminate my need for contact lenses and reading glasses. The newfound freedom is priceless. Thank you!"

Take a Close Look

When you watch the new NBC sitcom "Ed" this fall, take a close look at the professional offices of his hometown best friend, Mike, the local doctor. If the setting looks familiar, its because both the interior and exterior scenes were filmed on the premise of Norden Eye Laser in Ridgewood, NJ.

David Letterman is the executive producer of the show, which follows the tribulations of a New York Lawyer named Ed, played by Ton Cavanagh. Ed retreats to his hometown, the imaginary Stuckeyville, Ohio, to find his high school sweetheart after losing his job and finding his wife in bed with the mailman. The Norden offices were chosen when a location scout was searching Ridgewood, which will be the backdrop for Stuckeyville, and decided the Norden offices would be a perfect choice. Additional filming at the location is being considered for future episodes, so stay tuned!
